How events work

Our conscientious clothing exchanges are for everyone. Find out more below.

You’re invited

This is an inclusive event for everyone. If you can donate, great. If you can't, also great.

How to give

Bring gently used/new, clean clothing and accessories that you no longer need or use, and come shop for FREE!

Bring your items day-of the event.

All items will be put out (hangers/racks and tables) by the donor for others to shop!

We gladly accept:

  • Gently used, washed clothes

  • Any size

  • Any gender

  • Accessories - jewelry, handbags, totes

  • Shoes - new or gently used

We can’t accept:

  • Dirty items

  • Items in need of repair

  • Single user items: underwear, socks, etc

  • Home goods (Baby chairs, vases, etc.)

  • Toys

It’s free. No one will be denied clothing.

  • If you do not have clothing to donate, you are welcome to bring 3 non-perishable food items.

  • If you cannot bring either clothing or food we welcome you to come take what you need.

  • Any items left after the swap + non-perishable food items will be donated directly to people in need.

How to shop

When, where, how to get there

Each weekend of we host a clothing exchange, we will be open for both Saturday and Sunday. Come either day, or both days!

Location

  • Events are entirely outside at a private residence, there will not be access to a bathroom.

  • If you are differently-abled or disabled, please contact us and we will do everything we can to facilitate access to the swap.

  • Note about this address: this is a private residence and the swap will be taking place in the back yard and driveway. If your GPS brings you to an apartment building you are close but that is 33 7th Avenue SE!

Logisitics

  • We follow local and federal COVID-19 guidelines and do not require masks at this time for those who are vaccinated.

  • Those who are unvaccinated or immunocompromised should wear masks.

  • We will continue to assess the COVID-19 situation as we approach each event and reserve the right to implement safety precautions as necessary to protect attendees and volunteers.

  • Please bring your own bag to take your items home.
